Charnwood Commercial Bodies Ltd specialises in building both traditional and bespoke lightweight low-loading Luton bodies for 3.5 tonne commercial vehicles. Increasing payload without compromising on internal space is our priority, with our customer's needs placed at the forefront of all our builds.
LIGHTWEIGHT MATERIALS
We specialise in delivering class leading payloads by utilising lightweight panels in all our builds. Bodies are composed of lightweight, recyclable, composite materials, giving our customers better returns on fuel savings and carrying capacity.
IN-HOUSE DESIGN
Our in-house design engineer is on hand to produce technical drawings showing dimensions of the bodies we produce allowing our customers to make better informed decisions about the best body type most suitable for their business and vehicle livery.
BESPOKE CONVERSIONS
Our skilled body-builders make best use of utilizing the lightweight panels in order to produce bespoke, weight-saving internal conversions. Pictured left is the inside of our 'Tool Van' which has been a huge success, reportedly increasing our customer's sales by 40%!
Vehicle access
The low entry height of 600mm enables frequent loading / unloading without the need for a tail-lift and minimises strain on the user. And whatever your access needs; be it tail-lift, roller shutter, curtain-side or side door access, we will accommodate them to help improve your company's efficiency.
